Account Deletion

This page explains how Owo360 users can request account deletion, what data may be deleted, what may be retained, and why some retention periods can still apply.

Last updated: 28 March 2026

1. How to request account deletion

Owo360 lets users request account deletion directly from the live app without needing to contact support first.

  1. Sign in to your Owo360 account.
  2. Open the account area.
  3. Select Delete account.
  4. Choose a deletion reason and confirm ownership of the account.
  5. Submit the deletion request.

If you cannot access the app or your account, you can contact support@owo360.com or support@owo360.com for help with a deletion request.

2. What happens after you submit the request

After submission, your request may enter a scheduled or pending-deletion state. The app may also show a deadline until which the request can still be cancelled.

  • Access to the account may be restricted or ended as part of the deletion workflow.
  • Existing sessions may be revoked.
  • Deletion can be delayed or blocked if there are unresolved bookings, appointments, disputes, payouts, or legal obligations.

3. Data that is deleted or scheduled for deletion

Subject to technical, legal, and operational limits, the deletion workflow is intended to remove or de-identify account-linked data such as:

  • account profile details and account access data;
  • saved preferences and non-essential account settings;
  • user-generated profile or listing media controlled through the platform;
  • non-required support or marketplace data that no longer needs to be retained.

4. Data that may be retained

Some information may still be retained after a deletion request where retention is reasonably necessary or legally required, including:

  • billing, subscription, payment-status, and accounting records;
  • security logs, audit trails, fraud-prevention, and abuse-investigation records;
  • booking, appointment, or dispute records needed for legal claims, compliance, or operational follow-up;
  • records required to comply with applicable law, regulation, or law-enforcement requests.

5. Retention periods

Retention periods depend on the type of information and the reason it must be kept. Some data may be removed promptly after the request is processed, while other records may be retained for longer where needed for legal, tax, accounting, fraud, safety, or dispute-handling purposes.

If you want more detail about the categories of data retained in your case, contact support@owo360.com.
