Platform terms

Terms & Conditions

These terms explain the legal rules for using Owo360 as a customer, vendor, or paid subscriber, and they are designed for a UK marketplace context.

Last updated: 27 March 2026

1. About these Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to your access to and use of the Owo360 website, mobile apps, marketplace, vendor tools, subscription plans, and related support features (together, the Platform).

By creating an account, browsing listings, requesting bookings, subscribing to a paid plan, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts, eligibility, and account security

You must provide accurate information, keep your login details secure, and promptly update any information that becomes inaccurate.

  • You must be legally capable of entering into binding arrangements to use paid or business features on the Platform.
  • You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless the law says otherwise.
  • You must not share credentials, impersonate another person, or create accounts using misleading details.

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us as soon as possible so we can help secure it.

3. How the marketplace works

Owo360 provides the platform and workflow for discovery, booking requests, appointments, support, and subscription features. We do not provide the underlying vendor services unless we expressly say otherwise.

  • Customers can browse listings, send requests, receive updates, and manage confirmed appointments.
  • Vendors can create listings, define availability and policies, respond to requests, and manage confirmed appointments.
  • A booking request is not a confirmed appointment until the Platform shows that it has been accepted or confirmed.

Where a vendor accepts a request, the service arrangement is primarily between the customer and that vendor, subject to any mandatory laws that apply. Owo360 remains responsible for operating the Platform itself and any Owo360 subscription contract.

4. Vendor responsibilities

Vendors are independent businesses and are responsible for their own services, staff, insurance, taxes, and legal compliance.

  • Listings, pricing, descriptions, and media must be accurate and not misleading.
  • Availability, cancellation rules, and service policies must be kept reasonably up to date.
  • Vendors must only accept bookings they can fulfil and should honour confirmed appointments unless there is a valid reason not to.
  • Vendors must use customer information received through Owo360 only for legitimate service-related purposes and legal compliance.

We may reduce visibility, lock content, suspend accounts, or take other proportionate action where vendor activity breaks these terms, platform rules, or applicable law.

5. Customer responsibilities

  • Customers must send genuine requests and provide accurate booking information.
  • Customers should review vendor policies and appointment details before relying on them.
  • Customers must not use the Platform to harass, spam, mislead, or evade legitimate vendor terms.

If a dispute arises about the actual offline service delivered by a vendor, we may help with platform records and support, but we are not automatically the provider of the vendor’s service.

6. Owo360 subscriptions and billing

Some Platform features are available only through paid Owo360 subscription plans. Subscription benefits, prices, usage limits, and feature gates are shown in the app or on the website.

  • Paid access is activated only after the first payment is successfully completed and confirmed through our billing systems.
  • Subscriptions usually renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Customer-facing cancellation turns off auto-renewal and typically takes effect at the end of the paid billing period, unless we explicitly state otherwise.
  • If a payment fails, is reversed, expires, or remains incomplete, we may suspend or revoke paid entitlements until billing is fully resolved.

Subscription billing is processed through Stripe. Separate terms and privacy notices from Stripe may apply to payment handling. Refunds, if any, are handled according to our stated policy, the plan terms, and mandatory law.

7. Content, acceptable use, and platform rules

You must not misuse the Platform or upload content you do not have the right to use.

  • Do not upload illegal, deceptive, infringing, hateful, or harmful content.
  • Do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, scrape, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Platform.
  • Do not use Owo360 to bypass plan restrictions, gated features, or platform safeguards.

You keep ownership of your content, but you give us a non-exclusive licence to host, process, display, adapt, and distribute it as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Platform.

8. Suspension, termination, and ending use

You can stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, payment issues, fraud prevention, policy breaches, or operational integrity.

Where appropriate, we may keep records after an account is closed in order to comply with law, maintain billing and audit records, resolve disputes, and protect the Platform.

9. Disclaimers, liability, and consumer rights

We work to keep the Platform available, accurate, and secure, but we do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for issues that arise solely from the acts or omissions of independent vendors, customers, connectivity providers, or third-party services outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for your mandatory statutory consumer rights.

10. Changes, governing law, and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to bring them to your attention. Continuing to use the Platform after the updated terms take effect means you accept them.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory local consumer law says otherwise. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction unless the law gives you a different mandatory forum.
